“The desert’s son” with Max Calderan | Auditorium “Cesare De Michelis”

It is part of the M9 Communities initiatives, born from the Ritroriamoci in M9 project to promote the active participation of local communities and associations, the calendar of ‘Protagonists of our time meetings. Art, culture, history, society’ curated by the Paolo Rizzi Association.

The fourth and final appointment, moderated by Vittorio Pierobon, is Saturday, December 9th 2023 at 11 am in the Auditorium «Cesare De Michelis» with Max Calderan, one of the greatest living Italian explorers who will present “La linea Calderan”, a book in which he recounts the crossing on foot of the Rub al-Khali, the largest sandy desert in the world. An undertaking in 18 days and 1100 kilometres, along a route that not even the Bedouins with camels have ever attempted.
